 Noel Nascimento - Piano
NOEL NASCIMENTO FILHO Born in 1957 in Curitiba, Brazil. Noel
Nascimento, after preliminar studies with Daniel Silva, wins several youth
competitions betweeen 1973 and 1978 in Brazil. Meanwhile, he develops his
musical studies with Gilberto Tinetti in Sao Paulo and Luis Thomaszéck,
a pupil of Claudio Arrau, who had an unusual short carrier and died at the
age of twenty-eight, from whom he receives a solid pianistic and musical
formation. From 1979 to 1988 he lives in Germany and makes his regular studies
with Rodewald at the High-school of Arts of Berlin (Hochschule der Künste)
and H. Budde at the High-school of Music Westfalen-Lippe in Münster,
Germany. The private classes he has with Claudio Arrau himself during the
concert tours of the chilean master in Europe are of most important significance
for his artistic and pianistic developement, and make him one of the least
remaining pianists of this school, which ascends to Franz Liszt.
